Being a Bread Basket volunteer is essential for our program to keep running and being a part of our Wimberley community. It is what we like to call “Neighbor helping Neighbor”.
An orientation session must be completed before working at the food bank.
You can come by during our office hours or call ahead and ask when would be a good time for your orientation. We normally have enough volunteers on staff but extra help is always appreciated!
Depending on your interests and skills, you may want to volunteer in the front office, at a public food distribution, or for a special project/event. We typically need more volunteers if there is an event coming up.
